WWII Knights Cross Recipients Erich Cremer, Walter Krupinski & William Dipberger Signed Auto Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. Peter-Erich "Ali" Cremer (March 25, 1911 – July 5, 1992) was a highly decorated German U-boat commander during World War II. He was recognized as one of the few high-ranking submarine aces who managed to survive the conflict, later detailing his experiences in his memoir, U 333: The Story of a U-boat Ace. Walter Krupinski (11 November 1920 – 7 October 2000) was a highly prominent German military aviator. He was a fighter ace with the Luftwaffe during World War II and later transitioned into a senior career as an officer in the West German Air Force (Bundesluftwaffe) during the Cold War. Wilhelm "Willi" Dipberger (May 30, 1918 – September 10, 2005) was a German Luftwaffe combat observer during World War II. He is best known for being part of a highly decorated bomber crew and receiving the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross.
