WWII Knights Cross Recipients Hermann Buchner, Johannes Lutter & Joseph Burschgens Signed Auto Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. Hermann Buchner (October 30, 1919 – December 1, 2005) was an Austrian-born Luftwaffe military aviator and a fighter ace of World War II. Over the course of his combat career, he flew more than 600 operational missions and was credited with 58 aerial victories, alongside the destruction of 48 tanks, numerous trucks, and anti-aircraft units. Johannes "Hans" Lutter was a prominent German Luftwaffe fighter and ground-attack pilot during World War II who achieved the status of an aviation ace. Josef "Joseph" Burschgens was a German Luftwaffe fighter pilot and flying ace during World War II. He is credited with 10 aerial victories, a standard that classified him as a fighter ace.
