WWII Knights Cross Recipients Gunther Rall, Martin Becker & Alois Berndl Signed Auto Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. Günther Rall (March 10, 1918 – October 4, 2009) was a German military aviator who achieved status as the third-highest scoring fighter ace in aviation history. His remarkable career spanned nearly 40 years, serving first as a legendary Luftwaffe pilot during World War II and later rising to the absolute highest ranks of West Germany’s post-war air force. Martin Becker (12 April 1916 – 8 February 2006) was a highly decorated German Luftwaffe military aviator during World War II and one of the most successful night fighter aces in aviation history. Over the course of his combat career, he was credited with 58 aerial victories, which places him tenth on the all-time list of history’s most successful night fighter pilots. Alois Berndl (December 16, 1918 – July 18, 1996) was an Austrian-born German Luftwaffe airman who served during World War II. He is most notable for being a highly decorated combat crew member, specifically serving as a rear gunner (Bordschütze / Fliegerschütze) on Ju 87 "Stuka" dive bombers.
