Description
WWII 1945 Army 41st Infantry Division Major General Jens Doe Signed Letter. 1945 letter from MG Doe to the recipient who requested a shoulder patch. MG Doe mentioned that patches are not available due to the 41st Infantry being in combat or the field. Overall, very good condition. Information found on the internet: Jens Doe graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1914. He retired in 1949 as a U.S. Army Major General. Doe received the Purple Heart and Silver Star (5) among other awards.
