WWII 1945 USMC Marine Corps MG Geiger Signed Letter. 1945 letter from Major General Roy S. Geiger to the recipient who requested a shoulder patch. Overall, very good condition. The consignor mentioned that he put the news article to go along with the letter. Overall, very good condition. Information found on the internet: Roy Stanley Geiger (January 25, 1885-January 23, 1947) was a Marine Corps four-star general who served in WWI and WWII. In World War II, he became the first Marine Corps general to lead a field army. Geiger commanded the III Amphibious Corps in the Battle of Okinawa in 1945.
