Description
Vietnam War Era Army Letter Group. Letters from SP/4 Alan Adam (388th Transportation Company) stationed at Vong Tau Saigon and LTC Charles P. Spaulding (Army Support Group) stationed in Korea to Mrs. Spaulding. There are 15 letters from these soldiers. The other letters are from others. From the internet: Spaulding was commissioned in the United States Army in August of 1953, and spent the next 20 years in service to the United States. He taught military history for the ROTC program at Middlebury College from 1962 to 1967 then earned a master’s degree in political science at the University of Vermont. He retired a Lt. Colonel in August 1973. Good readable condition.
