Description
Letters from Gerald R. Le Moine. 30 plus letters. Many censored and V-Mail. From the internet: The 197th Ordnance Battalion was deployed to Europe during World War II and saw action in Italy, France and Germany. The battalion received credit for participation in six campaigns and received a Meritorious Unit Commendation for its service in Italy. Following World War II, the 197th was inactivated in November 1945. Good readable condition for their age.
