WWII Aces William Farrell, Edwin Heller & Duke Hedman Signed Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signatures are original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. William Farrell was a highly decorated United States Marine Corps fighter pilot and a registered "flying ace" who achieved the rare distinction of flying combat missions across three major consecutive conflicts: World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Lieutenant Colonel Edwin Lewis Heller (December 5, 1918 – May 17, 2004) was a highly decorated United States Air Force fighter pilot and flying ace who served with distinction in both World War II and the Korean War. Robert P. "Duke" Hedman (December 19, 1916 – May 24, 1995) was an American aviator who achieved historical significance during World War II as the first American fighter ace of the war. Hedman was a Flying Tigers.
