Description
WWII German Knights Cross Recipients Erich Topp, Wolfram Stronk & Johann Hans Spielmann Signed Auto Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. Erich Topp (2 July 1914 – 26 December 2005) was a German naval officer who earned recognition as the third most successful German U-boat commander during World War II. He later became a highly-ranked officer in the West German Federal Navy (Bundesmarine) during the Cold War. Wolfram Stronk (November 17, 1919 – April 10, 2003) was a German military officer recognized for his actions during World War II. He is most notably remembered for his actions during the severe fighting around Warsaw. Stronk led a critical counterattack that delayed the Soviet advance on the city, an action that allowed numerous German units to escape encirclement and avoid captivity. During these heavy clashes, he was severely wounded and lost his right leg. Johann "Hans" Spielmann (December 29, 1916 – August 14, 2005) was a highly decorated German military officer who served during World War II. He was a notable commander within the Panzerjäger (anti-tank) and Sturmgeschütz (assault gun) branches of the Wehrmacht.
