WWII German Knights Cross Recipients Hermann Eckardt, Alfons Klein & Erwin Jollasse Signed Auto Photos. These photos do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). These signed photo are copies of the actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Good overall condition. Feldwebel Hermann Eckardt (October 4, 1920 – September 16, 2010) was a highly decorated German combat veteran of World War II, recognized as a frontline tank and anti-tank commander. Operating on both the North African and Eastern fronts, he was credited with destroying numerous enemy tanks throughout his military career. Oberleutnant Alfons Klein (February 6, 1921 – November 25, 1992) was a highly decorated German Luftwaffe fighter ace during World War II. He is best known for his service toward the final months of the war on the Eastern Front. Erwin Jollasse (December 8, 1892 – March 14, 1987) was a German officer who rose to the rank of Generalleutnant (Lieutenant General) in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was recognized for his battlefield leadership, particularly on the Eastern Front, and was a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross.
