WWII 1945 1st Army LTG Courtney Hodges Signed Letter, Censored Envelope & Patch. Letter from Lieutenant General Courtney Hodges (later in his career a General) to the recipient who requested a German Flag and a shoulder patch. The envelope is censored signed by LTG Hodges. The photo of Hodges was put there by the consignor for display purposes. Overall, very good condition. From the internet: Courtney Hicks Hodges was a senior officer in the U.S. Army who commanded the first US Army in the Western European Campaign of WWII. Hodges was a Mustang officer, rising from private to general over a 40 plus year career.
