Description
December 29, 1952 signed campaign letter of thanks from Dwight D. Eisenhower just before he took the oath of office to become the 34th President of the United States. This item does not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Dwight D. Eisenhower was a decorated military general and statesman who served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 to 1961. Popularly known by his nickname "Ike", he is uniquely celebrated as both the mastermind behind the Allied victory in Europe during World War II and the leader who guided America through eight years of relative peace and prosperity during the height of the Cold War.
