Description
Original item as shown. Medium sized (will not take measurements). No tags inside. General John A. Shaud (born 1939) is a retired four-star general in the United States Air Force. A 1962 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, he became a command pilot with more than 4,600 flying hours in aircraft such as the C-141 Starlifter, T-39 Sabreliner, and C-5 Galaxy. Over his career, he held key leadership roles, including Commander of Air Training Command, Director of Programs and Evaluation in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Operations, and Chief of Staff at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). Known for his contributions to strategic planning, mobility, and training, Shaud retired in 1991 after nearly three decades of service.
