This print pictures the fight on Midway Island where 51 torpedo planes launched by 3 American carriers fought the fight during WWII. This print shows a Japanese aircraft carrier and numerous torpedo planes and torpedoes hitting the water. Of the 51 torpedo planes launched by the three American carriers and Midway Island, only nine returned. Approximate size is 22 x 30 inches. This piece comes with an informational card.
