Description
WWII USAAF Army Air Force 489th Bomb Group Certificate of Merit & Air Medal. Named group to Arthur B. Crawford Jr. (19 missions). The certificate has him earning two OLC, but the AM and ribbon show otherwise. Embossed stamp on the Colonel signature. The wrapped broach Air Medal includes 3 Oak Leaf Clusters attached. One ribbon also has 3 OLC. Both ribbons are pin backs. There is also a lapel pin present. The certificate measures 9 x 12 inches. The certificate has tears along the edges and a diagonal crease.
