WWI Era Army 287th Aero Service Squadron Framed Unit Photo. Information from the internet: Service Squadron at Wilbur Wright Field, Ohio, May 1918. Transferred to Chanute Field, Illinois, June 1918 and re-designated "Squadron D", July 1918. Re-designated 287th Aero Squadron and transferred to Aviation General Supply Depot Americus, Georgia, December 1918. Approximate size is 43 x 9.5 inches. Creases throughout the photo.
