Description
1932 USN Navy Boeing Airplane Company Aircraft Data Plate. Boeing F4B-4 Primary Pursuit Fighter Biplane. The Boeing F4B-4 was the U.S. Navy’s last bi-plane fighter, as well as the last fighter produced by the Navy by the Boeing Aircraft Company. First flown in May 1929, the first F4B entered fleet service with the Navy in July 1932. From information found on the internet this plane crashed on August 23, 1938 with E.M. Roland as Pilot. This plane at the time was attached to the VN5D8 Squadron. Nice condition for its age.
