WWII 1942 USMC Marine Corps 5th Platoon (PL) Officer Candidate Class (OCC) Cigarette Case. From the engraving on the front and a metal plate found inside this piece it is named to: Chase O. Sanderson. It appears this cigarette case was a gift. Engraved on the case is the following: C.O.S. From 5th PL (platoon) 10th O.C.C. (Officer Candidate Class). Approximate size is 4.5 x 2.75 inches. Tarnished cigarette case, otherwise good usable condition.
