Description
WWII Era USN Navy Named CPO Bikini Atoll Atomic Bomb Plus More Group. Named to CPO John L. Beck. Beck ended his career as an Aviation Machinist Chief. This group comes with a named ADRC visor (Berkshire-Flex), Course completion certificates, 4th Good Conduct Award, Retirement Certificate, Discharge Document, photos that include aircrafts / crashed aircrafts and ships gathering at Ebeye Island after the 1946 detonations of nuclear devices at Bikini Atoll. Identification Cards to include Joint Task Force One Atomic Bomb Test, Patrol Squadron 49 as Captain on a Martin Mariner and Royal Blue Nose Card, Patrol Squadron 32 Certificate, and other paper. The Patrol Squadron 32 Certificate is a 1946 certificate mentioning his participation in the Bikini Atoll experiment and it being a Royal Experiment of Guinea Pigs. Good overall condition for its time period. The large certificate has tears and it is fragile.
