Description
Large Japanese silk flag signed by dozens of members of the 59th Signal Battalion which served with the Third US Army in Europe in WWII. It has various First and Third Army patches sewn over the sun in the middle. We do not know why a Japanese flag was signed instead of a German one, but suspect that was all that was available to one of the Soldiers. This is a nice original piece.
