Description
Original WWII era ribbon bar of General Alfred Gruenther. Tons of info about him online, but in a nutshell in WWII he was attached to the Fifth Army as a Major General with Mark Clark, and later rose to 4 Star Rank as head of NATO, retiring in 1956. Lot includes his original theater made sewn on ribbon bar, patch, obituary article, a few original photos, and a number of high quality glossy copies of him in uniform. The original uncut bullion WWII Major General rank was not his but is included with the sale to use in the display.
