Description
Korean War Killed In Action group to Cpl. Ralph S. Asher of Salt Lake City, Utah, Co. D., 2nd Engineer Bn., 2nd Infantry Division. He was KIA on 1 Dec. 1950 near Kanuri, North Korea. Group includes his officially engraved Purple Heart in Box, boxed campaign medals, 2nd Infantry Division patch, screw back DUI, engraved (R.A.A.) mothers gold star pin in box, and a large copy of his Individual Deceased Personnel File. The Korean PUC appears to have been added by the previous owner as it is more modern.
