WWII 8th Air Force DFC, Air Medal, Ribbon Group. T/Sgt John J. Smith WWII group to include his boxed Distinguished Flying Cross Medal, with Ribbon, and Lapel Pin, boxed Air Medal with Ribbon and Lapel Pin, Good Conduct Ribbon, American Defense Ribbon, European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon, 8th Air Force Patch (stubby), Army Air Force Patch, 1945 AAF Convalescent Hospital Authorization of Awards sheet to Smith and Going Back To Civilian Life booklet. All items are in nice condition for their age with the exception of the paper that has a crease tear and dog ear corners. Still readable. The booklet has wear to the cover. He served as a radio operator in the 381st Bomb Group, 532nd Bomb Squadron.
