Description
Uniform of Major General Erland Fish. In 1909, Fish joined the Massachusetts National Guard and served as captain in the 101st Field Artillery Regiment in France during WWI. From 1930 to 1934 he was the commanding general of the 26th Infantry Division, also known as the Yankee Division. The uniform features a direct embroidered 26th ID patch, bullion MG stars, bullion overseas bars, and a sewn on ribbon bar. His name is penned in the tailor label. Also his leather Sam Browne type belt. Comes with a packet of research, photos, and biographical info, as well as an original photo of him not in uniform.
