Description
These belonged to Major General William H. Tschappat, 14th Chief of the US Army Ordnance Corps from 1934-38. Lot includes 1930s Ordnance General uniform with sterling BG stars. Made at the West Point Store, with some holes in the lining. Fair-good condition. Two Cuban Pacification medals, including an early numbered one with the inferior ribbon that traces to him, Early insignia- Sterling BG star, sterling Lt. Col. Rank, early USMA collar insignia, WWI Victory medals, mini medals, WWI General Staff insignia, etc. Display case not inclduded. Also his M1872 Artillery Officer Sword and Scabbard with his name engraved upon it.
