Description
WWII Slot brooch numbered (327316) and hand engraved US Army Purple Heart Medal to Henry W. De Rose, who was wounded in North Africa in January 1943 and hospitalized until June 1943. His unit has not been researched. NARA Hospital records note that he was in Algeria, Tunisia, or Morocco at the time of his wounds. Worthy of more research.
