Description
Original cased WWII slot brooch Purple Heart Medal with government hand engraving to Sgt. John Nevinsky of New Jersey, assigned to the 143rd Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division, Killed In Action in Italy on January 25, 1944 and buried in the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. He was also awarded a Bronze Star Medal. This group contained the cased PH and the original framed under glass wound accolade, as well as several pages of research.
