Description
Posthumous (Killed in Action) Purple Heart Medal group to Corporal Charles F. Sinnett Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island. He was a member of Company G, 2nd Battaion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, tragically killed by gun shot on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1951 near Tung-Dae Ri, North Korea. He previously earned a Bronze Star for Valor in November of that year. The group includes his officially government engraved slot brooch Purple Heart, engraved mother’s pin, lapel pin and ribbon bar, titled case, cut edge 24th Infantry Division patch, and a very comprehensive Individual Deceased Personnel File (IDPF) on him covering his awards, medal issue, death, etc.
