WWII Era Named Navy Submarine USS Proteus Badge & Surrender Group named to Torpedoman Mate 1st Class (TM1c) A. J. Waleszonia, Jr. The group includes: 1945 named US Navy Japanese Surrender Souvenir Card, 1943 named Submarine Combat Insignia Card, Submarine Combat Patrol Badge with three stars. Maker is Amico sterling. The surrender card was given on board the U.S.S. Protues (AS-19) in Tokyo Bay during the formal surrender of the Japanese Forces to the Allied Powers. Very good overall condition for its age.
