WWII Era Named Army 17th Airborne Division Gliderman Certificates Group. Named to S/SGT. Glenn Thompson. Thompson was a part of Company A, 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division. Thompson was Killed in Action on January 7, 1945. The 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment entered the Ardennes Campaign, 4 to 9 January, at the Battle of Dead Man’s Ridge. In this group you will receive the following: 1943 certificate for completing a course in knots and lashing, 1944 certificate for completing a course at 17th Airborne Division Chemical Warfare School, and a 1944 Win The War Bonds Certificate. Good overall condition.
