Description
Pulitzer Prize winner of fiction & Writer Upton Sinclair signed lot of ephemera. This group does not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Overall, good condition for their age. Upton Sinclair was an American author, muckraker journalist, and social reformer who famously exposed political and corporate corruption during the Progressive Era. Born in Baltimore in 1878, he authored nearly 100 books spanning multiple genres, earning widespread acclaim and a 1943 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He is most renowned for his 1906 novel The Jungle, an exposé of the meatpacking industry that led directly to monumental federal food safety legislation.
