Description
Millvina Dean was the last living survivor of the 1912 Titanic tragedy. You will receive a signed letter with Certificate of Authenticity from Chaucer Auctions. Don Smith was the great nephew of E. J. Smith who was the Captain of the Titanic when it sank. The signed card is certified as 6 out of 100. The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Very good condition for their ages. Elizabeth Gladys Millvina Dean (2 February 1912 – 31 May 2009) was a British civil servant and cartographer best known as the last living survivor of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. At only nine weeks old, she was also the youngest passenger on board the ill-fated ship. Don Smith is a prominent figure in the Titanic community primarily known for claiming to be the great-nephew of Captain Edward John Smith.
