Description
Brooklyn Dodgers Jackie Robinson Lot. You will receive the following: Jackie Robinson auto card, Rachel Robinson signed index card, PSA 8 Topps Card (Turn Back The Clock), 1954 Yearbook, 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers (copyright 1995), and Newspapers: New York Post & New York Times. None of these items come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Overall, nice condition for their ages. Jackie Robinson (January 31, 1919 – October 24, 1972) made history on April 15, 1947, when he stepped onto Ebbets Field for the Brooklyn Dodgers, breaking Major League Baseball’s 20th-century color barrier and changing American sports and society. He was an extraordinary multi-sport athlete, a fierce civil rights activist, and a pioneering businessman whose legacy is honored throughout baseball every year.
