New York Yankees Joe DiMaggio Signed Baseball w/ COA & Newspapers Lot. The signed baseball comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA). See hologram sticker and printed out information sheet. Also notice on the ball above the hologram sticker the writing missing from the text. This ball will be shipped in the cube that came with the ball. The poster size is approximately 14 x 10 inches. You are also bidding on newspapers with Joe DiMaggio articles that include 1999 New York Post (2) Metro Edition and Sports Extra, 1999 New York Times, and 1999 Daily News (2) National Edition and Racing Final. The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Joe DiMaggio was an American professional baseball center fielder who played his entire 13-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career for the New York Yankees (1936–1942, 1946–1951). Nicknamed "Joltin’ Joe"and "The Yankee Clipper, " he is widely considered one of the greatest players in baseball history, known for his powerful hitting, and his status as an American cultural icon.
