Description
Golfer Bobby Jones and Hockey Gordie Howe Signed Photo Lot, These items do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Approximate sizes are shown in the pictures for scale. Overall, good used condition. Bobby Jones is considered the greatest amateur golfer to ever play the game and one of the most influential figures in golf history. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1902, Robert Tyre Jones Jr. dominated the sport during the "Golden Age" of the 1920s while remaining entirely an amateur, earning his primary living as a lawyer. Jones achieved the Grand Slam in 1930, winning all four major golf tournaments of the time in a single year. Gordie Howe, globally known by his nickname "Mr. Hockey, " was a Canadian professional ice hockey player widely regarded as the most complete and durable player in the history of the sport. Over his career that spanned six decades, Howe dominated the ice with a unique combination of scoring skill, and physicality. He spent his first 25 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings leading them to four Stanley Cup championships.
