Also, Actress and Model Rosalind Russell 1946 Signed Personal Check. These items do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Both items are in good condition for their ages. The consignor was a long time collector of signed / autographed sports, political and entertainment items. Claudette Colbert was a French-born American actress who became one of the most successful and highest-paid stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Known for her trademark bangs, sophisticated wit, and exceptional comic timing, she was a versatile leading lady who excelled in both screwball comedies and emotional dramas. Colbert was an Academy Award Winner. She won the Oscar for Best Actress for her iconic role in Frank Capra’s comedy, It Happened One Night (1934). Rosalind Russell (1907-1976) was an American actress, comedian, screenwriter, and singer who became a definitive archetype of the witty, independent working woman during Hollywood’s Golden Age. Over a versatile four-decade career spanning from the 1930s to the 1970s, she mastered both screwball comedies and intense dramas on both stage and screen.
