Description
1930s Captain Hawks Sky Patrol Fan Club Brass Badge Wing Pin. This badge wing was a membership pin for a fan club created by Post Cereal in conjunction with the radio show Hawk’s Trail. The club was named after Captain Frank Hawks, a WWI U.S. Army pilot and record-setting racing pilot who inspired children’s interest in aviation. The pin is made of brass with red enamel highlights and features a propeller design with a raised portrait of Captain Hawks in the center. Approximate size is 1.75 inches. Overall, nice condition for its age.
