Description
WWI Era 3rd Third Liberty Loan Honor Flag Award. Lot of (2). These awards were supplements from the New York Tribune and The Sunday Vindicator dated April 7, 1918, featuring an illustration of the "Honor Flag" for the Third Liberty Loan. This flag was part of a U.S. government campaign during WWI to encourage citizens to purchase war bonds to finance the war effort. Approximate Size is 7 x 9 inches. Overall, very good condition for its age.
