Description
WWII 1942-1945 37th Bomb Squadron Named Letter Group. Named letter group from Sergeant Benedict Anthony Losinski. Losinski was deployed to Africa, Italy, and England as a member of the 37th Bomb Squadron, 17th Bomber Squadron. 35 letters dating from 1942-1945. Mostly censored from Italy. The 37th Bombardment Squadron supported the invasion of Sicily and Italy, earning a Distinguished Unit Citation for its role in the January 1944 attacks on airfields near Rome. Good readable condition for its age.
