Description
RARE Army General Douglas MacArthur Presentation Remington Electric Shaver. This item appears to have been unused. MacArthur became board chairman of Remington Rand, Inc. During his tenure as Board Chairman of Remington Rand, the company released a new product, The Remington 60 Deluxe Electric Razor. The General presented a small number of these razors to close friends with a facsimile of his signature embossed in gold on the front cover. According to the company there were very few of these presentations, making this razor an extremely rare item for MacArthur collectors. The case is 5 x 6 x 2 inches. Excellent unused condition. We did not test this item to see if it is functional.
