Description
US Army 1944-1946. Named to Lawrence H. Gardner, 671st Tank Destroyer Battalion. Most letters are censored letters. Some of the letters mention landed in the Philippines, getting in trouble, B-29 crash, Empire State Building, low morale, being shipping out and not sure if going to Asia or invasion of Japan (secret), plus much more. 25 plus letters. Good readable condition for their age.
