Description
1930s US Navy Named USS Altair Scrapbook. Named to Donald Reid, Storekeeper (1915-1942). Reid was a Pearl Harbor Veteran who died in 1942 of Leukemia. Looking through this scrapbook we noticed Reid spent some time in the Panama Canal Zone area. There are 110 plus photos, cards, news clippings, money, plus more. The cover and a couple pages are detached from the scrapbook. Overall, good readable condition.
