Description
WWII / 1950s Era Navy. Naval Amphibious Forces USS Colonial Scrapbook. Named to Richard Bruce Lippincott Machinist Mate. From the inside cover photos, Lippincott was aboard the USS Colonial. Also, located on the first page is an Amphibious Forces Patch. Since Lippincott was a sailor aboard the USS Colonial the ship itself was a dock landing ship. Sailors would have that patch since they were part of amphibious landings. 125 plus photos and a bunch of various papers are included. The cover is loose from the scrapbook itself. Overall, good readable condition.
