Description
Paul-Hubert Rauh (15 November 1913 – 30 August 2005) was a German Luftwaffe Night Fighter Ace and recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross during WWII. The Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Paul-Hubert Rauh claimed 31 aerial victories, all of them at night. In the 1956 he joined Bundesheer, and retired 1974 as an Oberst. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. This signed photo is a copy of an actual period photo. The signature is original. Good overall condition.
