1879 Elgin National Watch Co. Railroad Grade Pocket Watch Movement (600855) & Dial for parts or repair. Railroad Grade: 49. Grade 49 is a 15 jewels Interchangeable watch maufacturered by Elgin. The size 16s (1.7 inches), Model 1 movement features a gilt finish and is adjusted. During the time the watch was manufactured, it would have qualified for railroad service and is considered to be railroad grade. The working condition has not been checked.
