Description
WWII Fighter Pilot Ace Francis Stanley Gabby Gabreski (January 28, 1919–January 31, 2002) was an American career pilot in the USAF who retired as a colonel after 26 years of military service. He was the top American and US Army Air Forces fighter ace over Europe during WWII and a jet fighter ace with the Air Force in the Korean War. Gabreski is best known for his credited destruction of 34.5 aircrafts in aerial combat and being one of only seven U.S. combat pilots to become an ace in two wars. This signed photo is a copy of an actual period photo. The signature is original. The approximate size is 8 x 10 inches. Nice condition.
