Description
Handmade hammered aluminum trench art set consisting of 6 pieces. These pieces were consistent of a German POW camp during WWII. Even though we are not 100% of a positive identification, we believe this was made at Camp 267 Mereworth Castle Camp, Mereworth, Kent. Camp 267 was a German Working Camp. You will receive the following pieces: Tray, Matchbox Holder with matches, rectangular Storage Container, Ashtray, and (2) circular Storage Container. The only marking is what is located on the tray. The pieces are in good overall condition for their age with the only part that is detached is a base from the circular Storage Container.
