Description
1912 Russia 500 Roubles Peter The Great Currency Note. This 1912 500 Rubles banknote is the largest currency in size ever printed by the Imperial Russian Empire. It features Czar Peter I, better known as Peter the Great who ruled Russia from 1682 until his death in 1725. The obverse of this banknote depicts Peter the Great in battle uniform. It also portrays a seated allegoric woman symbolizing Mother Russia along with a large watermark of the Czar. The reverse is multi-colored and proudly displays the Russian Coat of Arms. This note is in circulated condition.
