Description
Spanish American War – WWI New York Conspicuous Service Cross Engraved and Named Medal Lot. Named to Naval Fleet Reserve (USNFR) Lieutenant Louis Leon Bernier. The NYS Conspicuous Service Cross is numbered 810. Makers Mark is Tiffany & Co. and Sterling. Also included is Berniers New York Spanish American War Medal. This medal is engraved along the rim: Passed Asst. Engr Louis Leon Bernier, USN. Marked Dieges & Clust. When serving overseas with the Reserve Fleet he was stationed at the naval base, Bordeaux France. Overall, good condition for their ages.
