Description
Measuring 5 x 7.5 feet, this original Naval issue Valley Forge flag was flown on the USS LST-380 which was a landing ship for the invasions of Sicily, Salerno, and Normandy during WWII. The consignor notes that he bought the flag from an individual in 2016 who had originally bought it from Fred Devine in 1952, the man who purchased LST-380 from the Navy and repurposed the ship.
